LOS ANGELES (Monday, Oct. 14, 2019) – The LA Galaxy will travel to Allianz Field this week for a match against Minnesota United in Round One of the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. PT in a game broadcast live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
Following the conclusion of the 2019 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy earned the No. 5 seed in the MLS Western Conference standings and now face No. 4 seed Minnesota United FC in postseason play. The winner will advance to the MLS Western Conference Semifinals with a contest at LAFC on Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m. PT on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
In 24 seasons, this is the 19th time in club history that the LA Galaxy will take part in postseason play. In all, the club holds a 44-22-7 playoff record with an MLS best five MLS Cup victories. Their 44 playoff wins are the most of any team in MLS.
