The LA Galaxy (12-11-9, 45 points) will train during international break before returning to MLS play on Sunday, Oct. 21 to face Minnesota United FC (11-17-3, 36 points) at 2 p.m. PT at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.
With two games left in the 2018 MLS Regular Season, the LA Galaxy sit in 7th place in the Western Conference standings. The Galaxy are one point out of a playoff place, with Real Salt Lake currently holding the sixth spot with 46 points.
The Galaxy inched closer to playoff contention after securing a result against Sporting KC over the weekend. In the match, Zlatan Ibrahimović scored a penalty kick to give the Galaxy an early lead. David Bingham had an incredible game to keep Sporting KC at bay, but they were able to find a late equalizing goal, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
After their next game against Minnesota United FC on the road, the LA Galaxy will return to StubHub Center for a home finale at StubHub Center against the Houston Dynamo on Sunday, Oct. 28.
