LOS ANGELES (Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023) – The LA Galaxy today announced that the club has transferred midfielder Carlos Harvey to USL Championship side Phoenix Rising FC. Additionally, the Galaxy will retain a sell-on percentage of the transfer fee if Harvey is sold to another club. Harvey, 21, made 10 MLS regular-season appearances (2 starts) across three seasons with the LA Galaxy (2020-22). Additionally, Harvey tallied six goals and one assist in 55 USL Championship regular-season appearances (47 starts) for LA Galaxy II (2019-20).
“We’d like to thank Carlos for his time and contributions with the Galaxy and we wish him the best as he continues his career with Phoenix,” said LA Galaxy Head Coach and Sporting Director Greg Vanney.
Prior to joining the LA Galaxy organization, the Panama City, Panama began his career with Panamanian First Division side Tauro FC, where he made one appearance (1 start) during the 2018 campaign.
At the international level, Harvey has made two appearances 12 starts) for the Panama National Team since making his debut against the United States Men’s National Team on Jan. 27, 2019.
