The LA Galaxy revealed their new 2018 adidas primary jersey at the exclusive Season Ticket Member Jersey Launch Party presented by Herbalife Nutrition and StubHub at The Novo at L.A. LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles tonight.
LA Galaxy alumni Cobi Jones, Mauricio Cienfuegos, Kevin Hartman, Carlos Ruiz, Alexi Lalas and Mike Magee were joined by longtime Season Ticket Members, members of the L.A. Riot Squad and Angel City Brigade, as well as representatives from LA Galaxy II and the Boys’ and Girls’ LA Galaxy Academy as each donned one of the Galaxy’s past primary kits in a procession at center stage before Giovani dos Santos, Jonathan dos Santos and Romain Alessandrini walked out to reveal the new 2018 primary jersey.
The jersey was designed by adidas with consideration of what a kit can represent, providing a way for the club to communicate its identity and history. The iconic LA Galaxy sash is back, with a bold navy sash enclosed by a thin, gold sash on each side. The signature “This Is LA” jock tag returns, as does “Galaxy” just below the back neckline, complete with a quasar. Over the heart, the golden star at the top of the crest represents LA Galaxy’s five MLS Cup wins, the only club in MLS to rep such a feature.

A lighter kit, adidas’ AdiZero jerseys are the lightest soccer jerseys in its class. An athletic player fit and innovative materials are woven with AdiZero polyester fabric and a fully engineered back panel provides enhanced player freedom of movement and temperature regulation.
LA Galaxy’s longtime partnership with Herbalife Nutrition lives on, with the company’s logo featured prominently on the front of the jersey. In addition, Herbalife Nutrition will be featured on all LA Galaxy training gear for staff and players. Herbalife Nutrition remains the Galaxy’s official and exclusive nutrition partner, with the entire line of the Herbalife Nutrition products available to the club’s players and coaching staff.
