CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016) – The LA Galaxy have unveiled the team’s new primary jerseys for the 2016 season, which will be worn throughout all official club competitions. The Galaxy are scheduled to debut the new 2016 kits on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in a 2015-16 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League match at StubHub Center against Santos Laguna (7 p.m. PT).

The new Galaxy primary kit will continue the traditional sash featured in previous years while providing a classic update in two contrasting bars of the Galaxy’s primary colors. The bars highlight the team’s new crest, which will be the only team in MLS to feature a single Gold Star, signifying the Galaxy’s record five MLS Cup Championships.
The new Herbalife Nutrition logo will appear prominently on the front of the club’s jersey. Herbalife Nutrition will now also be featured on all LA Galaxy training gear for staff and players. In addition, Herbalife will remain the Galaxy’s official and exclusive nutrition partner, with the entire line of the Herbalife products available to the club’s players and coaching staff.
To celebrate the launch of the 2016 primary kit, the LA Galaxy will host a Supporters’ Happy Hour at BLENDS from 4-7 p.m. PT on Friday, Feb. 5, at the club’s This is LA retail Pop-Up Shop at BLENDS (725 S. Los Angeles St.) in Downtown Los Angeles. Mike Magee, Jeff Larentowicz, Dan Kennedy, and Dan Gargan will be in attendance to celebrate the new kit and start of the 2016 season with Galaxy supporters. The new kit will be available for purchase as well as new 2016 Galaxy gear.

On Saturday, Feb. 6, the Galaxy will continue the celebration of the launch of the team’s 2016 primary kit and marketing campaign at BLENDS from 2-5 p.m. PT, when Robbie Keane, Steven Gerrard, and Giovani dos Santos will be in attendance for pictures and autographs.
