LA Galaxy's road swing rolls on this weekend | Weekly Schedule

One week after their biggest win of the season, the LA Galaxy return to road as they ready to face Minnesota United FC in the first-ever match between the two clubs. The match kicks off at --- and will be broadcast live on ESPN.

On Sunday, the Galaxy had one of their finest performances of the season against New York Red Bulls, earning a 3-1 for their first win the Eastern Conference time zone since May 15, 2013. Romain Alessandrini continued his impeccable form on the road, tallying two goals for the Galaxy in consecutive minutes on Sunday. In total, he’s bagged five goals and two assists in four matches, and leads MLS in road goals. In addition, Giovani dos Santos found the back of the net for a second straight game, providing two of the Galaxy’s brightest stars with plenty of confidence headed into Sunday’s matchup with Minnesota.

Minnesota is the second pit-stop on a four-game road stretch for the Galaxy that won’t see them return to StubHub Center until June 17. After Minnesota, the road trip rolls on for dates with San Jose Earthquakes (5/27) and D.C. United. The Galaxy are now 2-2-1 on the road this season, and unbeaten in three straight games, their longest such stretch of the season.

LA Galaxy II are back on the road, with another long road trip to take on Rio Grande Valley FC. The match will be played at H-E-B Park, kicking off at 5:30 p.m. PT and willl be streamed live on LAGalaxy.com/2.
