LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy continue their 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup campaign by traveling to face NISA (National Independent Soccer Association) side California United Strikers FC in the Round of 32 at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine, Calif., on Wednesday, May 11 (7:30 p.m. PT; ESPN+), before returning to league play to host FC Dallas at Dignity Health Sports Park, in a match presented by Platinum 7X Vodka as part of ’90s Night, on Saturday, May 14 (7:30 p.m. PT; Spectrum SportsNet, LAGalaxy.com).

In the Third Round of the U.S. Open Cup, the Galaxy defeated San Diego Loyal SC 1-0 behind Kévin Cabral’s game-winning goal at Dignity Health Sports Park on April 19. Dating back to their first U.S. Open Cup match in 1999, the LA Galaxy hold an all-time record of 34-17-0 in the competition and have been crowned champions twice (2001 and 2005). The match between LA and California United will mark the first-ever matchup of the two teams.
