Here’s what LA Galaxy II Head Coach Mike Muñoz had to say following Los Dos’ 1-1 draw against Fresno FC on Saturday night.
On the 1-1 draw:
“Massive, massive point for us. Anytime you can go on the road and get a point is always a plus, but the way that we did it and in the manner that we did it, going down a man for 75 minutes, is extra rewarding. I’m proud of the guys. They were resilient and we’re going to walk away knowing this was a big step for us heading into the next game.”
On Justin Dhillon’s red card and player suspensions:
“It’s not ideal in the sense that last game we had a suspension. This game now we’re going to have suspensions so we’re definitely going to have to clean that up, but that doesn’t take anything away in terms of a result tonight. Now, we have a ‘next guy pp’ mentality, so the next guy who steps up for Justin Dhillon - it’s his job to perform.”
