This year, Los Dos are 3-4-2 with 11 points, with 19 goals scored and 15 conceded for a +4 goal differential. In their last match, Los Dos fell to Las Vegas Lights FC 4-3 at home as a three-goal performance from Preston Judd wasn’t enough to earn points on the evening.
Wednesday’s match marks the second contest of the season between the two Southern California sides, with LA Galaxy II earning a 4-3 win over Orange County on May 29 in their first contest.
All time, LA are 13-8-4 against their Southern California counterparts, Orange County SC.
In 2020, Los Dos finished the regular season 8-6-2 with 26 points (4-3-1 at home and 4-3-1 on the road), earning them second place in Group B standings and clinching a berth in the USL Championship Playoffs for the second-straight season.
Head Coach Junior Gonzalez holds a 18-15-7 record throughout his head coaching tenure with LA Galaxy II and has led the team to two-consecutive playoff appearances. In the seven years of USL Championship competition, Los Dos have qualified for playoffs five times, in addition to a USL Western Conference Championship in 2015.
