In their final match of the 2021 USL Championship regular-season campaign, LA Galaxy II play host to Orange County SC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 7:30 p.m. PT live on ESPN+.
This year, Los Dos are 11-14-6 (39 points), with 55 goals scored and 56 conceded for a -1 goal differential. In their most recent match, LA Galaxy II fell 3-2 on the road to the Tacoma Defiance at Cheney Stadium on Oct. 24. Preston Judd tallied a brace, while Marcus Ferkranus and Taylor Davila each notched assists in the loss to Tacoma.
LA Galaxy II sit in fourth place in the Pacific Division, one point ahead of fifth-place Oakland Roots SC (10-13-8, 38 points) and the sixth-place Tacoma Defiance (10-13-8, 38 points). The top four teams from each division in the regular season will advance into a regionalized single-elimination bracket for the playoffs. In their last nine games played dating back to Sept. 18, Los Dos have posted a record of 5-3-1, outscoring their opponents 14-10 and posting five shutouts during that span.

Saturday’s contest marks the fourth and final meeting between LA and Orange County in 2021, with Galaxy II going unbeaten in the season series (2-0-1). In the last meeting between the two clubs, Galaxy II earned a 3-2 road win over Orange County on Aug. 7. Judd, Carlos Harvey and Daniel Aguirre tallied goals in the win over Orange County on Aug. 7.
During the 2021 campaign, Judd has ranks sixth in the league in goals scored (17), while Jorge Hernández ranks second on LA with 12 goals scored, including leading the league with 87 chances created. Justin vom Steeg leads the team and ranks tied for sixth in the league with eight shutouts and 73 saves in 23 games played in 2021. Josh Drack ranks tied for fifth in the USL Championship with nine assists.
Head Coach Junior Gonzalez holds a 25-26-11 record throughout his head coaching tenure with LA Galaxy II and has led the team to two-consecutive playoff appearances. In the seven years of USL Championship competition, Los Dos have qualified for playoffs five times, in addition to a USL Western Conference Championship in 2015.
