The LA Galaxy clinched a berth in the 2022 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs following a 1-1 draw to Real Salt Lake at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday night.
Real Salt Lake scored the opening goal of the match, a header in the box by Sergio Córdova in the 25' minute.
Douglas Costa converted a penalty kick in the 68' minute for the Galaxy's lone goal of the night to bring the match level. One point was all that was needed to send the LA Galaxy into the MLS Playoffs.
