LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy ended the preseason with a 1-1 draw with Chicago Fire FC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday
Sacha Kljestan scored the opener in the 54th minute after an Aleksandar Katai cross fell to Javier "Chicharito Hernandez, who saw his attempt deflected onto the midfielder for the easy finish from close range. The Fire equalized moments before the final whistle when a defensive miscue saw Michael Azira alone on goal for an easy finish.
The Galaxy ends the preseason with a 3-1-1 record. Los Angeles open Major League Soccer regular season play on Feb. 29 when they travel to the Lone Star State to take on the Houston Dynamo.
