The Galaxy entered the match with an eye toward the midweek US Open Cup contest, with Head Coach Greg Vanney opting to start with Douglas Costa, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez, and Julian Araujo on the bench with LAFC coming to Carson on Wednesday.
Looking forward, the LA Galaxy host LAFC at Dignity Health Sports Park in the Round of 16 in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, May 25. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available now.
