LOS ANGELES (Friday, Oct. 8, 2021) – In Week 25 of the 2021 USL Championship campaign, LA Galaxy II earned their third consecutive road win in league play with a 1-0 victory over Las Vegas Lights FC at Cashman Field on Friday night. Jorge Hernández notched the game-winning goal, his 11th goal of the season, while goalkeeper Justin vom Steeg notched six saves in the shutout.

With the win over Las Vegas, LA Galaxy II (10-12-5, 35 points) remain in fourth place in the Pacific Division, two points behind third-place Orange County SC (10-9-7, 37 points) and one point ahead of fifth-place Oakland Roots SC (9-11-7, 34 points). The top four teams from each division in the regular season will advance into a regionalized single-elimination bracket for the playoffs. Notably, LA Galaxy II improved to 7-6-0 in 13 games played on the road during the 2021 campaign. Additionally, Los Dos earned their third consecutive road win dating back to a 1-0 win over Oakland on Sept. 18.
