Yura Movsisyan headed home the first goal of the season for Real Salt Lake Saturday, but 10-man RSL couldn't hold the lead and ended up with a painful 2-1 loss against Western Conference rival LA Galaxy Saturday in Rio Tinto Stadium.
Movsisyan's 18th minute goal gave RSL the lead, but Kyle Beckerman was shown his second yellow card and sent off in the 44th minute and the hosts were forced to go the rest of the way a man down. Galaxy defender Dave Romney powered home a left-footed blast off a corner for the equalizer in the 69th minute and then Emmanuel Boateng scored the decisive goal in the 74th to give the Galaxy its first win of the season.
