LA Galaxy II (7-13-6, 27 points) fell 4-0 to USL Western Conference leaders Real Monarchs SLC (17-6-2, 53 points) on Saturday night in Herriman, Utah at Zions Bank Stadium.
The loss snapped Galaxy II’s three-game unbeaten streak, which was tied for their longest such run of the season.
In the match, Los Dos were under fire from the first whistle, with Real Monarchs forcing the floodgates open in the 20th minute, when Maikel Chang put SLC on the board. Three goals would follow in the next 20 minutes, coming at the 33rd, 36th and 40th minute marks. Former LA Galaxy II man Chandler Hoffman scored two of those and assisted on the other.
Los Dos held a shutout in the second half, but registered no shots on goal in the final 45.
