NEW YORK (Sunday, October 23, 2011) – The MLS Cup Playoffs begin this Wednesday, Oct. 26, when FC Dallas host the New York Red Bulls in a single-game Wild Card Match. On Thursday, Oct. 27, the Colorado Rapids will host the Columbus Crew in the other Wild Card Match.
Once the Wild Card Matches are complete, the lower-seeded winner will face the Los Angeles Galaxy and the higher-seeded winner will face Sporting Kansas City in two-game, total-goals conference semifinals.
