On the first win:
“I told the guys after the game that I believed in them, and that I never gave up on them. I knew that it was only a matter of time before it was going to come for us. We are going to continue to work hard and continue to stick to the game plan. If we stay disciplined in what we are doing, that’s going to happen. So really proud of the guys tonight.”
On Efrain Alvarez and Ethan Zubak’s individual hat tricks:
“I’m proud of [Ethan] Zubak who’s an academy product, proud of Efra [Alvarez] who’s an academy product. Both of those guys have been working so hard up top together. They are really forging a good relationship on both sides of the ball. They got exactly what they deserved. I don’t know if two hat tricks has ever happened before, so it’s pretty cool especially in front of our fans.”
On what he wants to see in Portland:
“We’ve really been focusing on our attacking play and obviously the past couple of games we’ve had nine goals in two games. We have to clean up the mistakes in the back. We have to be perfect, especially at this level. We’ll enjoy it, but it’s back to work.”

On the first win:
“It felt great. We felt it coming. Since last game we felt like we were going to win. The team came out good last week and we felt it coming. It felt good.”
On his first professional hat trick and how he was able to find that success:
“I really think it was my teammates. They gave me the opportunities to score the goals. I couldn’t do it by myself.”
