  • 2022 MLS Cup MVP John McCarthy makes his 15th start in goal for the LA Galaxy in tonight’s match against FC Dallas. McCarthy, who made three saves in the 2-1 win at home against Houston Dynamo FC on May 25, posted four shutouts in eight matches played during LAFC’s run to the 2022-23 Concacaf Champions League Final, earning Golden Glove honors and being named to the Concacaf Champions League Best XI.
  • Japanese International defender Miki Yamane, who recorded his first assist for the Galaxy in the 2-1 win over Houston on May 25, makes his 15th appearance (15th start) during the 2024 campaign. Yamane was named to the J1 League Best XI in three consecutive seasons (2020, 2021, 2022), and helped Kawasaki Frontale earn two J1 League titles (2021, 2020), two Emperor’s Cup titles (2020, 2023) and one Japanese Super Cup (2021).
  • U.S. Men’s National Team defender Jalen Neal, who was today called into the U.S. Men’s Olympic Soccer Team Training Camp in June, makes his sixth appearance (4th start) for the Galaxy this season in tonight’s match against FC Dallas. Neal has made 26 appearances (21 starts) across all competitions in four seasons (2021-Present) with the LA Galaxy.
  • Japanese International defender Maya Yoshida captains the Galaxy in tonight’s match. Yoshida, who has recorded two goals in 15 appearances (15 starts) during the 2024 campaign, tallied one goal and one assist in 12 appearances (12 starts) for the Galaxy in league play last year.
  • Argentine youth national team defender Julián Aude, who recorded his first career goal in MLS play against LAFC on April 6, makes his 16th appearance (15th start) of the season in tonight’s match against FC Dalals. Aude, who ranks ninth in MLS in fouls suffered (31), has recorded two goals and three assists in 41 games played (31 starts) across all competitions in two seasons played for the Galaxy.
  • Making his 15th appearance (10th start) for LA this season is Gastón Brugman, who has recorded four assists during the 2024 campaign. Brugman has recorded six goals and eight assists in 56 games played (50 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy.
  • FC Dallas Academy product Edwin Cerrillo makes his 16th appearance (10th start) for LA this season in tonight’s match against FC Dallas. Cerrillo recorded four assists in 87 appearances (62 starts) in five seasons played with FC Dallas (2019-23).
  • Riqui Puig, who has recorded 16 goals and 21 assists in 60 career appearances (58 starts) across all competitions for LA, starts in midfield. The 2023 MLS All-Star has 12 goal contributions (4 goals, 8 assists) for LA this season, and leads MLS in multi-assist games (3), touches (1,471), passes attempted (1,327), passes completed (1,172), distance covered in possession (72.93 km) and fouls suffered (40) and ninth in the league in dribbles completed (40).
  • Starting on the left wing is Diego Fagundez, who has four goal contributions (2 goals, 2 assists) in 15 appearances (7 starts) during the 2024 campaign.
