Lineup Notes:

  • Jonathan Bond, who has notched seven shutouts, makes his 25th appearance (25th start) during the 2022 MLS Regular Season. With his appearance against Vancouver, Bond will move past Jaime Penedo for sole possession of sixth place all-time in Galaxy regular-season appearances. 
  • Julián Araujo, who tallied two assists against Vancouver on Aug. 13, makes his 97th career appearance across all competitions for the Galaxy. 
  • Séga Coulibaly makes his third consecutive start and his 20th appearance of the season in the match against Seattle. 
  • Starting next to Coulibaly is Nick DePuy, who makes his 13th start in league play this season. 
  • Playing on the left is Raheem Edwards, who ranks tied for first on the the Galaxy with six assists in 22 appearances (20 starts) in his first season in LA.  
  • Gastón Brugman gets the start in midfield. Brugman has made four appearances (4 starts) since making his debut in a 2-0 win over Atlanta United FC on July 24.  
  • Mark Delgado, who has tallied two goals and one assist in 23 games played (22 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy, gets the start in midfield. 
  • Starting on the right is Kévin Cabral, who tallied an assist against Vancouver last week. Cabral has tallied eight goals and four assists in 55 career matches played (45 starts) across all competitions for the Galaxy.
  • Víctor Vázquez, who makes his 99th career MLS regular-season appearance, gets his 10th start in league play during the 2022 campaign. Vázquez has tallied one goal and three assists in 18 games played in league play this season. 
  • Samuel Grandsir makes his 14th start in league play this year. After Grandsir tallied two goals in the win over Vancouver, Grandsir was named to the MLS Team of the Week. 
  • Javier “Chicharito” Hernández gets the start and will captain the Galaxy. With his goal against Vancouver last week, Chicharito moved into a tie with Alan Gordon for the 10th most goals scored in MLS regular-season play for the Galaxy.
