- Making his eighth start across all competitions for the LA Galaxy is Tyler Boyd, who won Goal of the Matchday for Matchday 8 for his strike from distance against LAFC on April 16.
- Making his first career start for the LA Galaxy is midfielder Gino Vivi, who made his debut for the club as a second-half substitute against Colorado on May 6.
- Javier “Chicharito” Hernández makes his 11th start across all competitions during the 2023 campaign after recording the game-winning goal against Austin FC on April 22. In his last three regular-season matches played against Seattle dating back to Nov. 1, 2021, Chicharito has recorded three goals.
