- Julián Araujo, who scored his first career playoff goal in the Round One win over Nashville SC, makes his second career playoff appearance.
- Séga Coulibaly, who recorded the game-winning goal against LAFC at Dignity Health Sports Park on April 9, makes his 30th appearance (26th start) for the Galaxy across all competitions in 2022.
- Martín Cáceres makes his eighth appearance (7th start) across all competitions for the Galaxy this year.
- Raheem Edwards, who has tallied one goal and seven assists in 34 games played (31 starts) across all competitions in 2022, gets the start at left back.
- Gastón Brugman gets the start as the holding midfielder. Since making his debut for LA on July 24, Brugman ranks first in MLS in passes attempted (1,019) and passes completed (900), tied for second in the league in goals scored from outside the box (2) and leads the Galaxy in duels won (77), tackles won (21), interceptions (19) and possessions won (90) during that span.
- Riqui Puig makes his 11th consecutive start for LA across all competitions dating back to Aug. 28. Since Aug. 28, Puig has tallied a league-leading five assists and has added three goals.
- Mark Delgado, who tallied two goals and four assists in 29 regular-season appearances (29 starts) this year, starts in midfield for the Galaxy.
- Douglas Costa, who has tallied one goal and two assists in his last three appearances across all competitions dating back to Oct. 1, makes his first career start against LAFC.
- Samuel Grandsir, who has tallied two goals and four assists in his last four appearances across all competitions against LAFC, gets the start on the left.
- Captaining the Galaxy is Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, who has recorded 11 goals and two assists in his last 13 games played across all competitions dating back to Aug. 6.
