- Starting in goal is Jonathan Bond. The Englishman has posted two consecutive shutouts to begin the 2022 campaign.
- Mexican National Team defender Julián Araujo starts at right back. A first time MLS All-Star in 2021, Araujo led the Galaxy with seven assists in 32 games played (32 starts)
- Playing in the heart of defense is Séga Coulibaly, who made 19 appearances (17 starts) in his first season with the Galaxy last year.
- Next to Coulibaly is* Nick DePuy, who made a career-high 25 appearances (18 starts) and added an assist in his second season in LA in 2021. Playing at left back is Raheem Edwards, who has tallied an assist in two consecutive matches to begin the season. Edwards’ two assists ranks tied for fourth in the league in 2022.
- Mark Delgado* makes his third consecutive start for the Galaxy in midfield. The 26-year-old has tallied 17 goals and 24 assists in 220 regular-season appearances (189 starts) in his 10-year career in MLS. Next to Delgado is Rayan Raveloson, who ranked tied for second on the team in goals scored (5) and added one assist in 22 games played (22 starts) in his first season in LA last year.
- Appearing on the right wing is Designated Player Douglas Costa. The Brazilian international midfielder started and played 86 minutes against Charlotte FC last week, registering a game-high five chances created.
- Making his first start of the season is midfielder Efraín Álvarez, who tallied the MLS Goal of the Week for Week 2 with his long-distance strike against Charlotte FC on March 5.
- Playing on the left wing is Young Designated Player Kévin Cabral,who ranked tied for second on the team with five goals and chipped in with two assists in 28 appearances (24 starts) in his first season with the Galaxy in 2021.
- Starting up top and captaining the Galaxy is Javier “Chicharito” Hernández, who tallied the game-winning goal against NYCFC on Feb. 27. Chicharito tallied a goal in his last appearance away at Seattle on Nov. 1, 2021.
