- LA Galaxy at Vancouver Whitecaps FC: Wednesday’s match marks the 29th MLS regular-season meeting between LA and Vancouver, with the Galaxy leading the all-time series 14-9-6. In 13 regular-season games played between the two teams at Vancouver, LA holds a 4-5-4 record. The Galaxy earned a 5-2 win at home over Vancouver in the first meeting between the two clubs this season on Aug. 13.
- Galaxy run of form: LA enters Saturday’s match riding a six-match unbeaten run dating back to Aug. 13. In their last six matches played dating back to Aug. 13, the Galaxy hold a record of 2-0-4, outscoring the opposition 15-11 during that span.
