First Lieutenant Dunia Lara served in the U.S. Army for over eight years in the medical field in the 7305th Medical Training Support Battalion. As a medical officer, First Lieutenant Lara assisted the Medical Readiness and Training Command to execute exercises to global medic as part of the 807th Medical Command Deployment Support.
The Army Reserve Medical Command’s larger mission is to provide trained, equipped, and combat-ready units and medical personnel to support the total force on the battlefields of today and tomorrow.
Some of Lara’s awards include: the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal and the National Defense Service Medal!
