Vietnam Veteran from the United States Army Staff Sergeant Bruce a. Wiener is our Hero of the Match for the LA Galaxy's November 30 matchup in the Western Conference Final against the Seattle Sounders.

Staff Sergeant Wiener served with Company C, 3rd Battalion, 47th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division from 1967 to 1969. During that time, he was stationed in Vietnam, where he fought in seven grueling battles, each lasting more than a week.
