Zlatan Ibrahimovic appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to surprise members of the Thai soccer team who were rescued from a flooded cave earlier this year.
In their first studio appearance since the incident which captured worldwide attention, the 12 members of the "Wild Boars" and their coach spoke about their harrowing 18-day ordeal trapped inside a cave in Chiang Rai in northern Thailand.
After the young men described the experience, they were surprised by Ibrahimovic who offered them LA Galaxy gear and declared that the team was even braver than him.
"They showed their collective teamwork and had patience ... believing in other hands also," Ibrahimovic told the group. "This is probably the best team in the world."
The team also had an opportunity to train with the LA Galaxy and test themselves against their heroes first hand.
