HOUSTON -- The LA Galaxy locked down the third seed in the Western Conference with a 1-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo on Sunday.

With the win, Seattle Sounders FC's loss to FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake's draw with Sporting KC, the Galaxy secured the third seed in the Western Conference and a home playoff game for the MLS Cup Knockout Round.
The MLS Cup Knockout Round match will take place on Oct. 26 or Oct. 27 at StubHub Center.
