Giovani dos Santos, Jelle Van Damme, Romain Alessandrini, João Pedro and Brian Rowe are all up for nomination.

Fans will be able to vote for the five nominated players at LAGalaxy.com/POTM, where they can also enter the Herbalife Player of the Month Sweepstakes. May’s Herbalife Nutrition Player of the Month award winner will be announced on June 6, with fan voting closing on June 5.
Giovani dos Santos gave his 2017 season a massive jumpstart in May, scoring 5 goals in 4 games for the Galaxy. He tallied a score in every match, leading the effort in Galaxy's springtime turnaround.
Romain Alessandrini scored or assisted in each of the Galaxy's games in May, igniting the team's current five-match unbeaten run with a two-assist performance against Chicago Fire on May 6 and a two-goal performance at New York Red Bulls on May 14. The Galaxy's newest designated player combined with Giovani dos Santos for all four of the Galaxy's May games. Alessandrini was named LA Galaxy Player of the Month for March and April.
Jelle Van Damme captained his side back to winning ways, piecing together an unbeaten 3-0-1 record for his side in May. Van Damme and the LA Galaxy defense allowed four goals across three road games, helping the Galaxy to one of the only winning road records in MLS.
Brian Rowe has been a force in the net during the Galaxy's winning streak, collecting three wins and building his way to a winning 3-2-2 record in 2017. He made 13 saves in four starts, helping Galaxy to their first unbeaten month of the season.
The load on João Pedro's shoulders only got heavier as May progressed, with injuries to Jermaine Jones and Baggio Husidic increasing the need of quality from Pedro in the midfield. The Portuguese midfielder scored his first career Galaxy goal in his first ever Cali Clásico against San Jose Earthquakes on May 27.

Each month, the sweepstakes winner will receive four VIP match tickets to a 2017 LA Galaxy home game. The winner and their three guests will also win a meet and greet with the LA Galaxy Player of the Month presented by Herbalife Nutrition at the LA Galaxy’s training grounds at StubHub Center.
The campaign for June’s LA Galaxy Player of the Month Award presented by Herbalife kicks off at 4:00 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 3 when the LA Galaxy are on the road to face D.C. United (Spectrum SportsNet, Spectrum Deportes).
