Eric Lopez earned his first career USL Save of the Week award for his quick reactive stop during LA Galaxy II’s 2-1 win over Colorado Springs last week.
Lopez’s save came in the 33rd minute when the Galaxy II goalkeeper blocked Masta Kasher's low, untouched free kick to keep the match scoreless.
The 18-year-old’s stopped grabbed 48% of the vote, beating out Charlie Lyon of Orange County SC and Adam Grinwis of Saint Louis FC.
