LOS ANGELES (Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017) – The LA Galaxy have finalized their 2018 preseason schedule, the club announced today. Ahead of their 23rd season in Major League Soccer, the team will participate in two exhibition matches at StubHub Center and one at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif., hosting New York City FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC and the San Jose Earthquakes during February before the team’s 2018 MLS Regular Season opening match in March.
2018 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members will receive access to the three LA Galaxy preseason exhibition games. Tickets to the Galaxy’s matches at StubHub Center against New York City FC (Feb. 10) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC (Feb. 24) will go on sale to the general public beginning Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. PT. The mezzanine level will be closed for the preseason matches. Beginning today, Galaxy Season Ticket Members with seats in the mezzanine can relocate seats to the lower level for these matches.
2018 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members will receive priority seating to the Galaxy’s match on Saturday, Feb. 17 against the San Jose Earthquakes, which will be played at Orange County Great Park in Irvine.
Preseason will commence when players will return to StubHub Center for report date and physicals on Monday, Jan. 22. A week later, on Jan. 28, the team will head to Tucson, Ariz. for a week of preseason training before returning to Los Angeles on Monday, Feb. 5 for their last month of preseason training. While in Arizona, the Galaxy will participate in the Mobile Mini Sun Cup, which features 11 MLS sides and USL side Phoenix Rising FC. A full schedule of games and dates will be announced at a later date.
The Galaxy will finish out preseason training with three exhibition matches, facing MLS sides New York City FC, San Jose Earthquakes, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC. LA will host NYCFC at StubHub Center while facing the San Jose Earthquakes at Orange County Great Park in Irvine.
The LA Galaxy’s home opener at StubHub Center and the team’s entire season schedule for the 2018 Major League Soccer Regular Season will be announced at a later date.
