LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy earned a scoreless draw in their first of two closed-door scrimmages against Atlanta United on Wednesday.
Despite being without the services of Ola Kamara, Sebastian Lletget, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Giovani dos Santos, and Jurgen Skjelvik, the Galaxy showed well against the defending MLS Cup champions. Jonathan dos Santos, in particular, showed well, dominating down the center of the park.
A second match comprised primarily of LA Galaxy II players saw Atlanta earn a 2-0 win. Hector Villalba and Romario Williams scored for the Five Stripes.
The Galaxy continue their postseason schedule on Saturday when they host Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Orange County Great Park.
