LOS ANGELES (Monday, March 25, 2019) – After a bye week, the LA Galaxy (2-1-0, 6 points) are set to return to MLS action this weekend taking on Portland Timbers (0-2-1, 1 point) at 6 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 31 at Dignity Health Sports Park (ESPN2).

The LA Galaxy are 8-6-6 against the Timbers all-time, with the Galaxy going an undefeated 1-0-1 against Portland in 2018. With six points in their first three matches, the Galaxy sit 6th in the MLS Western Conference standings. The Portland Timbers are winless in their first three matches of the season, sitting in 10th place with one point.
LA Galaxy midfielders Jonathan dos Santos and Sebastian Lletget are expected to return from their respective international teams later this week. Dos Santos and the Mexican National Team will finish the international break with a fixture against Paraguay on Tuesday, March 26 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
