LOS ANGELES -- Goals from Nick DePuy and an own goal helped the LA Galaxy earn a 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids in their penultimate preseason contest.
DePuy helped the Galaxy equalize after an early finish from Colorado's Diego Rubio before a deflection off Rapids defender Drew Moor sailed into the net to decide the contest with a finish in the 76th minute.
Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez played 60 minutes in his second preseason match for his new squad.
The win gives Guillermo Barros Schelotto's squad a 3-1-0 record in the preseason. Los Angeles concludes their preparations on Saturday when they face Chicago Fire FC at Dignity Health Sports Park.
