LOS ANGELES (Friday, March 5, 2021) – The LA Galaxy today announced its preseason schedule and roster in advance of the 2021 Major League Soccer Regular Season.
The LA Galaxy began voluntary preseason training at Dignity Health Sports Park on Monday, March 1. The club will train at Dignity Health Sports Park throughout the month of March before departing for Tucson on April 2 for one week of preseason action in Arizona.
At Dignity Health Sports Park, the LA Galaxy will play preseason matches against San Diego Loyal (March 20) and New England Revolution (March 27 and March 31). The team will then travel to Tucson, Arizona to take part in the 2021 Visit Tucson Sun Cup from Saturday, April 3 through Saturday, April 10. In Tucson, the LA Galaxy will play preseason matches against Sporting KC (April 3), Colorado Rapids (April 7) and Real Salt Lake (April 10).
Following the match against Real Salt Lake in Tucson, the club will return to Los Angeles for final preseason preparations at Dignity Health Sports Park.
The 2021 MLS season is scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 17. The complete regular season schedule will be announced at a later date.

Transaction: The LA Galaxy and Diedie Traore have agreed to mutually terminate the defender’s contract on March 4, 2021. Traore, 22, departs after joining the Galaxy in 2019.
The LA Galaxy will continue to adhere to comprehensive health and safety protocols, including regular testing of players, coaches and essential staff for COVID-19. Due to MLS safety protocols, training and media availability are not open to media to attend in person. The LA Galaxy Communications team will provide media resources, including b-roll from the team’s training sessions, photography, and recordings of virtual media availability.
