Week two is in the books for the LA Galaxy Boys' Academy.
This week, the teams embarked on their first road trip of the season, traveling to UC Irvine to face Pateadores SC. During the road trip, the Academy went 3-2-0 between the five age divisions of the club.
The U-13s opened the series with a bang, defeating the Pateadores U-13s by a score of 6-2. Jonathan Ruvalcaba recorded his first hat trick of the season in the match. The U-14s kept the good vibes going with a 2-1 victory in the next match. The final victory for the LA Galaxy Academy was as strong as the first. The Boys' U-15s dominated their match with a score of 7-0. Both Bogart Rodriguez and Edward Castro recorded braces in the match.
From there, the LA Galaxy Academy struggled slightly, falling in their final two matches with the U-16/17 and U-18/19 teams in play. The LA Galaxy Academy will look to rebound from these losses next week versus Arsenal FC.
