Baggio Husidic nominated for AT&T Goal of the Week

Goal of the Week

LA Galaxy midfielder Baggio Husidic has been nominated for the AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 26 for his first goal Friday during a 6-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids.

Husidic’s goal capped off of a brilliant team effort from the Galaxy in the 30th minute to double the team’s lead to 2-0. Midfielder Marcelo Sarvas played a ball to forward Alan Gordon at the top of the 18, who flicked a ball that Gyasi Zardes dummied through to an oncoming Husidic and the midfielder calmly finished to the far post with one touch.

Husidic goes up against Alvas Powell (POR), Justin Meram (CLB), Thierry Henry (NY) and Alvaro Saborio (RSL).

Cast your ballot for your favorite goal before voting ends! The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.
