LA Galaxy Goal of the Year presented by Tire Pros
On the road at Toyota Park against FC Dallas, MLS Newcomer of the Year Finalist Stefan Ishizaki leveled the game with a first-half chip over goalkeeper Chris Seitz. Ishizaki collected the ball inside the 18 from a Gyasi Zardes cross and created space when he moved to his right towards the touchline. In front of two oncoming defenders, the Swedish midfielder chipped the ball and placed it in the far side of the net to tie the match, 1-1.
From brilliant Tiki Taco sequences to volleys to remarkable finishes, there were more than a few stunning goals scored as the LA Galaxy marched to a record fifth MLS Cup championship. However, there can be only one 2014 LA Galaxy Goal of the Year presented by Tire Pros.
The contest will run from December 22 to January 5 and offers fans the chance to vote for their favorite strike. Once the voting is complete, the winning goal will be announced on Jan. 5.
