LA Galaxy goalkeeper Jaime Penedo has been nominated for MLS Save of the Week for Week 15 for his brilliant save of Justin Meram’s header late in the game at Columbus Crew SC.

With the match tied 1-1, Crew SC pushed forward to find a late winner. A cross into the box found the head of Justin Meram, who whipped the ball on frame above Penedo. The Panamanian goalkeeper sprung up and got a hand on the ball to push it over the top of the bar and out for a corner as the Galaxy held on for the draw.
Fans can vote for Penedo here. The winner will be announced on Friday.
Penedo goes up against Jon Busch (Chicago Fire), Stefan Frei (Seattle Sounders), Bill Hamid (D.C. United) and Bobby Shuttleworth (New England Revolution).
