The LA Galaxy Academy will take a break from the closing rounds of the 2016-2017 US Soccer Development Academy regular season as they head to Frisco, Texas, for the 2017 Generation adidas Cup Finals.
The GA Cup is a U-17 tournament so the Galaxy squad will feature players from the U-18s who are sitting just outside the playoff places on goal differential and the U-16s who are comfortably in a playoff spot and pushing for the top spot in the division.
The Galaxy have been drawn against clubs from three different nations and will face Sporting Kansas City, Eintracht Frankfurt(Germany) and Flamengo(Brazil) in the Championship Division.
