CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy Academy took home several honors at the U.S. Soccer Developmental Academy award ceremony this weekend.
Galaxy Academy star Ulysses Llanez was named U-16/17 West Conference Player of the Year for his banner season.
The Galaxy also boasted several players on the West Conference team of the year as Leonardo Sepulveda, Kobe Hernandez, Efrain Alvarez, and Llanez were named to the team of the year for the U-16/17 age group, while Alex Mendez earned a place on the U-18/19 Best XI.
The Galaxy U-19’s play for the Developmental Academy Championship on Tuesday against New York City FC.
On the Girls' Academy side, LA Galaxy South Bay earned the West Conference's Community Award.
