The LA Galaxy announced today the first scarf of the 2015 season for Scarf of the Match, an initiative that will see a limited number of exclusive scarves for each of the Galaxy’s 17 MLS Regular Season home matches for sale to all fans. The design for each scarf will be based off of one of the Galaxy’s jersey’s during the course of their 20-year history.
The first scarf pays homage to the LA Galaxy’s classic 1996 home jersey and features the club’s original logo and colors.
Fans will be able to purchase the Scarf of the Match each home game at the Team LA Store for $29.99. Only 360 scarves will be available for purchase.
The LA Galaxy are set to kick off the 2015 season this Friday, March 6 at StubHub Center against the Chicago Fire at 7 p.m. PT live on UniMas.
