ORLANDO, Fla. -- The LA Galaxy will be without Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez for the remainder of the MLS is Back Tournament according to head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto.
The Galaxy boss told reporters following the team's 6-2 defeat to LAFC in their second MLS is Back Tournament that the Mexican forward will miss up to three weeks due to the injury that kept him out of Saturday's match. The injury will rule him out for Thursday's final group stage contest against the Houston Dynamo and any knockout round games should the Galaxy advance.
"He will not be ready for the next game. He [injured] the muscle, so he will be out around three weeks," Schelotto said. "And he won’t play for us next game.”
