CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, June 19, 2014) – The LA Galaxy announced today that the club will host a second World Cup watch party at the Hermosa Beach Pier for the U.S. National Team match against Germany on Thursday, June 26 at 9:00 a.m. PT. The event is free and open to the public.
The club will host a World Cup watch party for the U.S. National Team match against Cristiano Ronaldo and European power Portugal at Lot 613 (613 Imperial St.) in Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, June 22. The event will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. PT. All proceeds from the event go to the LA Galaxy Foundation. Tickets for this exclusive event start at $30, which includes food and two drinks, or an all-inclusive VIP package for $150. Last Monday, June 16, thousands of fans adorned in U.S. Men’s National Team and LA Galaxy kits lined the beach along the Hermosa Beach Pier to catch the action in the United States’ thrilling 2-1 victory over Ghana in their 2014 FIFA World Cup opener as a late goal by John Anthony Brooks decided the game for the U.S. In addition to witnessing the Americans’ dramatic victory, attendees were treated to performances by the Futboleros and appearances by Galaxy players Dan Gargan and Tommy Meyer as well as the club mascot Cozmo.
