LA Galaxy play final game of three-straight road matches Sunday against Orlando City SC | Weekly Schedule

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, May 11, 2015) – The LA Galaxy will play the final match of a three-game road swing this Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m. PT when they face 2015 expansion side Orlando City SC at the Citrus Bowl live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes. LA Galaxy II host two matches at StubHub Center’s Track & Field Stadium this week, beginning Wednesday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. PT against Tulsa Roughnecks FC with the second coming against Sacramento Republic FC on Sunday, May 17 at 4:15 p.m. PT.

The Galaxy (3-3-5, 14 points) will face Orlando City SC (2-4-3, 9 points) for the first time in club history. Orlando City most recently earned a 2-2 draw Friday evening at the Citrus Bowl when they came from behind to draw against the New England Revolution. The match will mark the Galaxy’s first MLS match in Florida since 2001, when they faced the Tampa Bay Mutiny and Miami Fusion. Sunday’s match will mark the fourth game this month as the Galaxy play in seven total games during May, the highest number of games in any month this season.

The Galaxy enter this week’s road fixture winless in their last 12 MLS matches on the road away from StubHub Center, including last year’s MLS Cup Playoffs matches. During that span, the team has gone 0-6-6.

The Galaxy fell to FC Dallas 2-1 on the road at Toyota Stadium Saturday night as a goal from forward Gyasi Zardes wasn’t enough to overcome two late goals from the hosts.
