LA Galaxy’s 20 for Twenty continues with CHLA Visit

Children

In continuation of 20 for Twenty, various members of the LA Galaxy front office visited Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) March 19 through the Hollywood Cares for Kids Program, which sees LA-bases team, business and celebrities visit the hospital’s patients and staff.

While there, several of the 18 LA Galaxy staff members visited numerous patients to play games and participate in other activities while others helped distribute coffee, tea and other refreshments throughout the hospital. The staff also visited the CHLA Sports Lab which the Galaxy supports to develop new research methodology.

To continue in support of CHLA, LA Galaxy will honor CHLA as the Community Partner of the Match on Sunday, April 12 against the Seattle Sounders in addition to another volunteer day with a player during April. In September, the Galaxy will also participate in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon benefitting CHLA this September through 20 for Twenty.

20 for Twenty is a year-long initiative that will see the implementation of 20 unique community service acts to celebrate the Galaxy’s 20th season in Major League Soccer.
