LA Galaxy’s 20 For Twenty continues Saturday with March of Dimes walk

CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, April 22 2015) – In continuation of LA Galaxy's 20 for Twenty community program, the LA Galaxy and AEG have partnered with March of Dimes to participate in their March for Babies walk on Saturday, April 25th at Exposition Park.

Fans can join Team LA Galaxy and walk alongside LA Galaxy front office, friends and families. Visit www.marchforbabies.org/lagalaxy to register and/or donate.

The Galaxy will also honor March of Dimes as the Community Partner of the Match for the team’s game Sunday, Aug. 9 against Seattle Sounders FC, with $5 of each ticket sold through the following link donated to March of Dimes: www.lagalaxy.com/communitypartner.

March of Dimes helps moms have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies.  The March of Dimes has led the way to discover the genetic causes of birth defects, to promote newborn screening, and to educate medical professionals and the public about best practices for healthy pregnancy.

20 for Twenty is a year-long initiative that will see the implementation of 20 unique community service acts to celebrate the Galaxy’s 20th season in Major League Soccer. The Galaxy Foundation has previously hosted a Build Day with Habitat of Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, participated in Read Across America, visited partners CHLA and partnered with Heal the Bay to help clean Redondo Beach.
