CARSON, Calif. (Monday, February 10, 2014) – The LA Galaxy arrived in Mexico City, Mexico Sunday afternoon in advance of the team’s preseason scrimmage against Pumas UNAM on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 9:00 a.m. PT. The Galaxy enter its fourth preseason exhibition after defeating FC Shirak 2-1 as goals from Samuel and Gyasi Zardes propelled the Galaxy over the Armenian Premier League side. Pumas UNAM, who are undefeated in their last three outings, enter the scrimmage in fourth place in the 2014 Torneo Clausura. Pumas defeated Club Leon 2-1 at Estadio Leon Saturday evening.
With 26 days remaining before the start of the 2014 MLS campaign the Galaxy will continue its preseason preparations against the San Jose Earthquakes in the Central California Cup at Chukchansi Park in Fresno, Calif.
