CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy U-14’s put forth a strong showing at the International Champions Cup Futures tournament.
The Galaxy U-14’s went 3-3-0 during the tournament, which included wins over English giants Liverpool FC and Arsenal. After earning just one win in the group stage, the Galaxy U-14’s went to the final of the “Plate” consolation bracket before falling to the Virginia All-Stars in the championship.
“The ICC Futures tournament has provided these boys with incredible international experience. These experiences will remain with them throughout their soccer careers,” head coach Andrew May told LAGalaxy.com. “It has also given the players an insight to the level outside the United States. But most importantly it has shown them to continue to work hard each day to get better.”
