The LA Galaxy Academy U-16' battled to a 1-1 draw against Pumas in the Liga Bancomer Tournament.
Both the Galaxy and Pumas had their fair share of chances early on, but entered half-time knotted at 0-0. Pumas broke the deadlock in the 44th minute but Efrain Alvarez found the Galaxy's equalizer in the 62nd minute.
The Galaxy are now 3-1-1 and sit atop Group 1 with 10 points, 4 points ahead of second place FC Dallas. They will now turn their attention to Santos Laguna on Wednesday, August 10 at 8:00 a.m PT.
